JBL President Guy Skinner explains how to install the Pacific Reel on a JBL Reaper Speargun. The Pacific Reel features a universal mount system that allows it to be quickly installed the same way on any spearguns that feature a dovetail accessory mount. Adapters come standard with the Pacific Reel for spearguns that do not feature this mount.
Using a reel while spearfishing gives the diver much more shooting line to aid in fighting and landing a fish. It also allows for a more safe method of freediving and hunting large game fish in general.
